A crowd of over two hundred people attended our Silks and Saris event on Saturday - a truly amazing fundraiser! Well done everyone!

Those in attendance enjoyed a fine display of Indian fashion and dance, a great chance at winning from a wide selection of prizes and a veritable feast of delicious food. 

A big thank-you goes out to all Buddies who contributed in some way - selling tickets, publicizing the event, canvassing businesses, attending planning meetings, cooking food, donating jewellery and other items and helping out on the day. It was a fantastic team effort and just goes to show what can be achieved when we all pull together.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the energy and inspiration of Buddies, Falu and Michael, whose vision and drive spurred us all on to achieving such a magnificent result. We are greatly indebted to them and thank them sincerely for their generosity and for the many hours they devoted to ensuring the success of this event.
